Welcome to my website! My name is Matthew Kurtyka, also known as The Sacred Creative. I am a creative alchemist based out of St Pete, FL.

I have been passionate about the creative arts my entire life, as it has been a beautiful journey arriving where I am now, a full-time visionary artist and musician.

I wasn't always on the trajectory of an artist. Even though I was obsessed with playing piano and doodling as a child, the older I got, the more obscure it was to cultivate a career as an artist. It wasn't until my late-twenties where I hit a breaking point, I became clear with myself that I did not want to settle for a job that debilitated me on a regular basis.

Originally from Harrisburg, PA, I moved to Florida in search of a lifestyle that nurtured my gifts. My first year in Florida, I co-founded Plant Love Ice Cream, a plant-based ice cream shop in the heart of St Pete. From here, I wove with community and dove into many creative outlets, eventually emerging as a tattoo artist at Tseko Studios.

 

Pursuing the creative life has taught me a lot about myself. I have been on a spiritual journey of self-healing, inner-union and creative expression for over a decade. I do my absolute best to walk with love, compassion and integrity, creating art and music for God.​

Every day is an opportunity to walk with gratitude and reverence for the blessings we all have in our life. Creative expression has saved mine, as I strive to empower others to share their unique gifts with the world. ​
